I have an ever-growing, extensive list of songs spanning all genres and time periods... and if I don't have it, I can get it! So whether it's a wedding reception, birthday, anniversary, company picnic, or even a pasture party, I can promise you a memorable time. I also do DJ work at dance clubs.

So what makes a good DJ? Well, as I've said many times, anyone can build a playlist and press PLAY. The 3 things that stand out in my mind are 1) Can he/she read the crowd and do they know when to play the right song? 2) Does he/she know how to involve everyone if necessary and do they have the ability to command the crowd's attention? and 3) Is he/she presentable? In other words, can they fit into the most elegant setting as well as into the wildest party? This one may not sound all that important at first - but try having your fancy shindig with a guy that looks as though he should be working as a DJ at a strip club and see how crucial it becomes. All-in-all, it's tougher to find than you might think.

Hiring a DJ should not be a last minute decision or an afterthought. Take time to look over your options and choose someone that is a fit for your event.
